Running and Cupcakes!

It has been a little while since my last post.
(mostly due to the fact that I haven't been
baking or crafting or doing much of anything interesting lately...
 other than school...
and earning a bit of money)

But this evening was a more "active" evening.
I ran a little more than 3 miles on the treadmill tonight!

I guess that really isn't that interesting...

There is something else that might be exciting.
It includes LOTS of cupcakes...

My dearest cousin
(Sami~ You are probably the only one reading this... And I thank you! )
And I are having a bake sale with lots of cupcakes.
I believe there are 7 variety so far...

Cranberry Chai,
Boston Creme,
Chocolate Mint,
Cookie Dough
 and more :)

It is going to be lots of fun baking and decorated all of them!
Some of the recipes will be one here in the future.
And many pictures to come from the event!

Baking Done Awesome...

You see those "waffles" right there?
They aren't waffles.

They are cinnamon buns.
Yup. That's right.
Plain old Pillsbury Cinnamon Buns.
Now they are no longer
"Plain old Pillsbury Cinnamon Buns"
They were
"Plain old Pillsbury Cinnamon Bun WAFFLES"
See the difference??
Just stick the cinnamon roll dough into the waffle maker and cook it just like you would waffle batter.
Then slather it with the glaze.
And I mean SLATHER!

Mariah turned 10 today.
Fruit Pizza "Cake"
Which I had the honor of baking.
Mariah has always had a thing for
as birthday cakes.
Sometimes their m&m.
Sometimes their chocolate chip.
And sometimes their a fruit pizza.

No. The cookie wasn't from scratch.
But it tasted AMAZING.
We made a double-giant cookie
(and ate the whole thing)
So, I will share the recipe I did for this...

Giant Fruit Pizza

2 packages of refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 container of Cool-Whip
1 package of cream cheese (8 oz.)
Fruit of choice:
(bananas, strawberries,
 blueberries, kiwi, ect.)

1. Slice cookie dough and overlap around tray.
(or just slice, and smash on your tray...)

2. Bake cookie

3. Mix cream cheese and Cool-Whip together
(I stirred them together first and THEN beat it.)

4. Let cookie cool completely before spreading on the "frosting"

5. Arrange fruit on pizza

6. EAT!

Enjoy these 2 great (and terribly easy) recipes.

Operation Egg Dye

DIY Song-Sheet Wall

If you were to enter our basement,
you would see a conglomeration of
crafts, craft supplies, outdated pictures,
trinkets, gizmos, and gadgets.

All four of us girls have our own
(due to the fact that we share rooms)
These areas are where we showcase
the sense of style we think we have.

Recently (as in Sunday evening)
My mom and I modge-podged sheet music
onto my wall.
It was surprisingly easy,
well, some of it.

STEP 1: Put wall paper on the wall's surface
(this is so it stays somewhat removable)

STEP 2: Pick out postcards, sheet music, pictures, ect.
onto the wall one at a time using modge-podge.
Let dry.

STEP 3: Touch up papers with modge-podge if needed.

I might be adding some other things like
 colored frames,
and old clock face,
or anything else that might look awesome.
