Happy New Year!

The countdown to 2013 has started.
Less than 12 hours left.
Wow.
Pinterest has inspired my New Years resolutions.

2013 - My goals.
I love that.
That quote is all my goals wrapped up in one.
What's your goal for 2013?
Will it be hard to achieve?
Or is it simple.
Either way, it is a change for the better
and.....

Our White Christmas.

Christmas Eve Present <3
The first official snow of the year was on Christmas Eve.
Which is wonderful because of how pretty it is,

But my dad plows.

So we opened our gifts when he got back
 late Christmas Eve.

Our tradition is to open gifts Christmas Eve
and stockings Christmas morning.

It was so much fun!
Lots of craft supplies, sharpies
(oh how I love sharpies... 63 and counting!)
and a Walk In Love. sweatshirt <3 <3

Amazing GRACE, how sweet the sound.
THAT'S MY MIDDLE NAME!
thanks mom!
I just love Christmas.
This year, my sisters and I made each other gifts.
It was so much fun to see their faces when they opened everything.

<3

Christmas morning we had a brunch with some neighbors :)

Special Christmas plates.
Another successful Christmas.
Mission Accomplished!

HOPE YOU HAD A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
and will have a very happy NEW YEAR!

On A Sunny Winter Day....

In our part of the world,
it has been unusually sunny.
 Not warm, just sunny.
 December should be snowy.

Winter is being snowed in, sledding, drinking hot chocolate by the fire,  watching the snow fall from a big picture window

But how do you do that when there is no snow??

These are my favorite pastimes during this unsnowy season.

Drinking Tea - green tea <3 <3

Lighting Bath & Body Works Candles
(Tis the Season = Festive Favorite!!)

Watching my fake trees glow...

Eating peppermints
("Rollymints"
as my little brother calls them..)

And doing school.
Not my favorite pastime.
BUT WE'RE ON BREAK!! YAY!!
So..
Christmas is almost here!! How exciting.

Have a holly jolly Christmas wherever you are!

PS: did you hear?? The world was supposed to end today...
but it is 11:52 PM and I'm still here........ ?

Let's Make Some Bows!

Items needed:
 Felt, scissors, hot glue gun

Cut a rectangle (size of choice)

Divide that into a
small rectangle and small strip

Accordion fold that 3 times

Hot glue front and back of bow

Put a glue dot on top of bow

Stick strip to dot
wrap around bow's center

Put another glue dot on top
of where the strip began.
Stick down and let dry.

Trim bow until even.

Make a variety of sizes
by cutting bigger or smaller
squares and strips of felt.
Cut edges differently
(rounding or cutting spikes)
for something different :)

YOUR DONE!

Wasn't that so easy??

Hello There...

Okay, so this blog is a very random idea
But that pretty much describes me....

 I love baking,
photography,
crafting
  fitness.

   (Pretty much anything creative)

This is just a way to get my ideas down on "paper"

An informative and (hopefully) inspiring way to get
You to get off this computer and go be creative.

I am going to kick things off with
A FELT BOW TUTORIAL

(next post)

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!
